Dr Elise Hickey

Dr Elise Hickey MBBS FRACP is a consultant Endocrinologist located on the NSW South Coast. She is now available at South Coast Specialist Healthcare on Fridays.

She offers expertise in all aspects of Diabetes (including insulin pumps) and Endocrinology including thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, polycystic ovarian disease, obesity and metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis and endocrine disorders in pregnancy and pre-conception. Dr Hickey studied medicine at the University of NSW, completed basic physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, before Endocrinology training across Canberra, Prince of Wales, Campbelltown, Camden and Wollongong hospitals. She undertook further subspecialty training and research in Obesity Medicine. Additional current positions include as Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at Wollongong Hospital and clinical lead of the Healthy For Life Indigenous Diabetes Clinic in Batemans Bay.
